Management

Therapeutic Lincs is managed by two Clinical Directors:

Deborah Brown B.Sc., M.Sc., Pg.P.Dip.C.P., C.Psychol

Deborah is a counselling psychologist, chartered with the British Psychological Society, who has worked within the NHS in Lincolnshire for over ten years. She has experience in the assessment and treatment of the full range of adult psychological problems. Deborah uses an integrative therapeutic approach based largely on the cognitive behavioural model. She also uses eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) techniques particularly in trauma cases or where there is a traumatic element to the client's presenting problem.

Lorna Bushnell B.A., Dip.Clin.Psycol., C.Psychol.

Lorna is a consultant clinical psychologist, chartered with the British Psychological Society, with over 30 years experience of working as a clinical psychologist in the NHS, 15 of them in Lincolnshire. She has experience of the full range of adult psychological problems and has held senior clinical and management posts. She has also specialised in the assessment of psychological injury of clients pursuing personal injury claims and is an expert in therapeutic interventions with such clients using a cognitive behavioural approach.
